I’m the one who shows up, tries my best to do what needs to be done, and attempts to leave without notice.
I’ve held a lot of jobs over the years: file clerk, forklift driver, exotic fuels specialist, F-16 avionics technician, First Sergeant, self-employed architectural draftsman, retail sales clerk, genealogist, and now author. My books can be categorized as action, adventure, and suspense featuring women with a military or law enforcement background.
My father was career Air Force and we traveled extensively. I was born in Bermuda. If I do claim a “from,” it’s Eugene, Oregon, since that’s where I went to high school and entered the Air Force. The things that I spend my time on haven’t changed much over the years. I still love to travel, read, work on my genealogy, walk, cheer on the University of Oregon Ducks, drool over men in uniform, visit my favorite gun shop, write tall tales and stories, and pick on my friends. The things I hate to do are also still the same as they’ve always been – anything other than the above. While I have a rich and varied fantasy life, in reality, I live quietly in Tucson, Arizona, with my husband and my pets.
